TCE Commentary:

Lets face it Trinidad Carnival is not going to be cheap as I recently saw flight on Jetblue for my family of 4 costing 8,000 dollar and that is just for Flight. We haven’t even book hotel or paid for costume, car rental, food and fetes. So like many of ya’ll I am going to have to thing of way to bring in more money so it pay for itself.

Someone help me understand these prices JetBlue is charging for flights to Trinidad. Check out the coming back prices as well:

The image above is showing a family of 4 prices to go from JFK New York to POS Trinidad.

I have checked prices for a single individuals leaving from New York costing $1,763.31 at the time of this blog post publication. It is a little higher then the average but about right for a single person. Now I don’t think prices should be this high but again its June and Carnival is very popular and airlines are trying to cash in.

I had a look at Caribbean Airline and didn’t realize they are charging people for food and beverages now. So you mean to tell me I am paying 800 – 900 and can’t get food.

They have a selection of classes to select from when flight from Lite, Classic which does not included food and beverages and from Flex onward food and beverages is included in the price. So you mean to tell me I have to pay 99 depending on the option more to get feed.

As you can see I haven’t travel on Caribbean Airlines for a while now so when did this type of option come above lol. As you can see Jetblue is still the best choice at the moment or you can wait to see if prices come down some. Prices are still high if you ask me. We still haven’t factored in all the other expenses.

Let us know how much you paid for your ticket and where or what airlines has the best prices.
